RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

We strive to combine strong passion with flexible creativity and enable
the evolution of tobacco products.

Tobacco products, which have long been enjoyed across the world as “Shikohin,” non-essential yet desirable items consumed for pleasurable taste or experiences rather than nourishment, have changed through many different forms over their history according to the needs of people and transitions in the social climate. Even now, the tobacco industry is approaching a significant turning point. Our goal is to create a society where smokers and non-smokers can coexist in harmony. In order to achieve this goal, we are advancing our measures for technological reform and product development through teamwork which applies diverse talents and unique ideas.
